At Recycling Appeal USA, we believe in the power of recycling. Not only does it protect the environment, it changes lives. A big statement? Yes, but as our programs have the potential to raise millions of dollars for good causes, we think we’re on to something.
Strong Credentials
Recycling Appeal USA is run by Redeem, an award winning firm started in 1999. When Redeem realized that most used cell phones and printer cartridges were being thrown into the trash we created Recycling Appeal, a socially conscious collections program that would help us influence customer behavior while benefiting worthy causes.
Positive Impacts
From Redeem’s Atlanta facility, printer cartridges and cell phones are recovered, segregated and packaged, to either be sent on for end of life recycling or reuse throughout the world. By reusing and recycling the raw materials in these products, energy which would have been used to create new items is saved, the drain on natural resources is lessened and the amount of waste going to landfill is reduced.
